2011 Roadster restriction

Hi Guys,

First post on ere so "Ello" from Dorset. Quick question from a soon to be keeper of a 2011 Behemoth Roadster:
Are the 2011 models restricted in lower gears and restricted to 120mph? If so is there a quick fix to remove the restrictions?

Yes, the 2011 tunes are restricted in all gears. You can fix this and the top speed limiter with the free TuneECU software program and a $20 cable.

Is it just a USB? What type of cable? Part # or pic?

I have just looked at the standard map that is in my 2012 Roadster and according to TuneECU the topspeed limit is set at 194 (I'm presuming that's kph and if so that's about 140mph which is quite a bot faster than I thought the limit was. Not that I go anywhere near those speeds anyway.

194kph = 121.25mph

derrrrr .... I did the conversion in my head and got it wrong. Never mind though 120mph is fast enough for me.
