Rocket III

Nolton,
One of the many things about the Rocket is that you can take a $13.000 Rocket and park it in a parking lot full of $35,000 HD and other bikes and around the Rocket 111 is where the crowd will be:cool:!

A long time ago I owned a '66 Chevelle SS with a 396. When I took a Rocket for a test ride I got the same felling that I used to get driving my Chevelle. It's a hot rod on two wheels!! I wanted something comfortable to ride but the performance of a sport bike.

Up here in Ohio Motohio has 07 rocket classic tourer for only 15000 and it inly has 30 miles on it. This company is one of the best around. We have people travling all over to buy bikes from them and to have there bikes worked on. I bought mine from Hinds motorsports and it was in the fall and I got a real good deal but I have had mine for 2 years now and I wouldn't trade for nothing. I'm thinking when I get it paid off I will go out and buy the T-Bird I have heard great reviews but I will not trade or get rid of my R3. The only way is to buy a new one someday and right now I don't see that happening.

Donaldinnewark, I'm not sure if that's a good price on an 07 Classic. That is what I paid back in March of 07 for mine fresh out of the crate and that was overe two years ago. However if there are a lot of accessories put on it by the dealer and that is the price...it may be a good deal.

The "other Texas" - and we don't like that!

Here in Colorado - I've seen $14k to $17k on bikes in the show room - but it has been awhile since I looked. Accesorizing is expensive if you go with Triumph. Just ordered a bolt on backrest made for the Rocket from 3rd party (Utopia) so indicative of businesses forming to supply you with cheaper alternatives.

Agree with all the former about HP, the need for velcro-on-the-butt and sheer enjoyment when you crack that throttle!
