The 06 of cootertwos is intermittent and i dont do intermittent so im thinking its those wires that corrode or mess up, white maybe, im just getting on the 06 to get it sold. Switch #1

believe mine were small round headed security screws, I used a pair of needle nosed locking pliers and turned a little at a time. Replaced with allen headed bolts

Yes they are security torx basically a torx with a hardened pin in the middle. Some people call the pin torx.

It is pretty much standard for torx bits now to have a hollow end to fit these. I get everyone's situation is different, but to me buying a $20 torx bit set would be infinitely easier than grind the heads off.
