Tom where as Mitch and I both have the same exhaust etc set up but he has a PCV (his bike is an 09) my bike is a 08 and the only other difference is that I don't have a PCIII, can I load his Tune into my bikes Ecu Or do I have to have a PCIIi and that beng the case are the files out of a PCV compatable for a PCIII

To my knowledge this should work with the current map.
I do not know if it works also with his 20050, that is a very old map.

PCV-files are not compatible with the PCIII.

Only PCIII files can converted to PCV-files.

Mitch any chance of getting a squiz at ur map and the figures? Thought
I might compare it with mine and see if I can see where the horse coral got left open there was a suggestion that because my bike is newer than urs the black paint may not have faded to a slightly deeper black yet and because of that it has less horses but may find some more as it ages

Sorry Tom I might not have made my self Clear I do not have a Powercomander at All, but was wondering if the map created in a bike with a Powercomander can be loaded in to a bike without a Powercomander ie Mitch has virtually the same set up as me being a CustomExhaust Headers (a copy of mine he he), triple K&N's, Stainune mufflers but he had his tune on a dyno using a Powercomander to fine tune whilst I do not have a Powercomander and was wondering if the modified map in his ECU would work in my bike which does not have a Powercomander
 

I assure u it has nothing to do with the map and everything to do with your stock headers they are very restrictive
U can suck all the extra air u want but u have to be able to get rid of it too
Im running a modified version of the 20050 map secondaries open ect ect as my base tune and the pcv with custom dyno map which i assume would be leaning and richening that map up where needed . the base map isnt compatable with roadsters
but im happy to email u the pcv map. Although it wont be anygood for your machine as u have stock headers and a different exhaust system.
If you want those extra ponies i would be changing the headers and getting remapped and they will appear. The map you have would be perfect for your setup i would say its just those headers robbing u
 
Hi,

Yes, that works. He only needs to read the PCV-map from his PCV and save then on his computer.
Then he must these PCV-file into a hex-file import and then he must store the hex-file with a new name.
The finished hex-file can then be loaded with TuneECU on your ECU.
But beware, even if the bikes have the same configuration, does not necessarily fit his map to your engine, because every engine is different.

Yep no worries that's all good, just wanted to compare the tables and see if there was much difference, it would then give an indication of how much difference the headers really made vs a whole heap of other factors . I'll pm u my email!
