    series or parallel

Mittzy, what i think i hear you saying is that my plan of just adding it into the current circuit either in parallel or in series won't work, correct? perhaps i'll get my local motorcycle shop to install it then.

    series or parallel

idk, i want the "beep" of both horns. Billy, i'm not familar with the wiring diagram of the R3 either, so chasing wiring isn't for me. i'm planning on just connecting to the two wires that already connect to the current horn. if i include an in-line fuse what wattage would you use?

    series or parallel

hey guys, i plan to "boost" the horn capability of my R3, so i bought a FIAMM Low Note O.E. Replacement horn. i like to add it to the current horn, so my question is should i wire it in series or in parallel with the stock horn? thanks for your help! Todd

    windshield shapes

use the 300-400 as a baby step for doing iron-butt runs

    windshield shapes

yea, right, do an iron-butt with no shield, not me! i prefer to keep my arms attached to my shoulders without having replacement surgery

    windshield shapes

cooter, i can't stand the clear shields like the one you're using. not calling your baby ugly, just to each his own. hearing no yeas or nays for any specific one of the four shields i listed, i ended up getting the 10.5" dark tint National City V-Stream at $120 i'll report back...

mine has the Corbin fairing and i've tried different shields attached to it. as i said in the first post, the one in the pics works well but i have to look through it, so i want experiential info on any of the four listed above

    windshield shapes

jag, if your statement is taken as a whole, i completely disagree! empirically, i have found wind-under-eddies are only one of the factors that contribute to windslap/buffeting. helmet shape, fairing shape, and windshield shape also effect windslap/buffeting. if you'd like i can give you all...

    windshield shapes

hey guys, i'm trying to find a windshield shape to lessen windslap, aka buffeting i have the Corbin fairing, and have found that their clear tall windshield works fairly well at this, but i have to look through the clear windshield, which i don't like! so i'm looking for a windshield that will...

r3 newbie with helmet "wind slapping"

yea, i'll check out getting some "lowers" for it what do you guys think about blocking out the space created when you install engine roll bars and the engine itself, those would be like "lower lowers" :D

r3 newbie with helmet "wind slapping"

going against the tide of the senior members, but... night & day, arctic & desert, no comparison whatsoever, none! went to my local Cycle Gear shop and told them what was going on. they said give this helmet a try, so i did. night & day, arctic & desert, no comparison whatsoever, none...

r3 newbie with helmet "wind slapping"

rocketjohn, what are r3T lowers? tomorrow i'm going to take the plexiglass off the fairing and see what that does? maybe with it off a different shapped helmet will make a difference? and what di you guys say about a lighter helmet? a good thing or not, particularly for wind slapping?

r3 newbie with helmet "wind slapping"

mully95, changing your body's riding position (typically stretching further back or crouching down low) will pay it's toll on your body, and that will make riding not enjoyable and might end up with a trip to the physical therapist. barbagris - i hear what you're saying, but i would think that...

r3 newbie with helmet "wind slapping"

hey guys, i'm relatively new to the r3. before the r3, i never road with a fairing or a shield. all my riding was just around town, no long trips so i didn't need one. but with the r3, i'm taking longer rides.... but after riding her for a +300mile ride my shoulders were killing me from...
