Tank

My custom tank the guy didn't do the sealing good and was having another sealing put in and the guy over torqued my bolt on fuel tank and Brock it.
So until I get that fixed I was going to put my orange tank back on and paint it flat black so it doesn't look too bad lol.
But then I thought I will ask if there is any one that has a black gloss tank or a flat or satin black gas tank for sale? And if so how much?
Or I can trade all my orange parts with black tribal just for the black tank? That's a good deal my orange tins have been sitting in boxes for year and will be a shame to paint my orange tins black because I will need to sand my tribal stencil off which will be a lot of work and a shame.
Perhaps there's some one out there that there parts got damage but the tank and needs a set. The orange with black tribal was a special edition paint job.

Wow hat is such a deal. I have a black 2005 basket case. It has been sitting waiting for me to put it together. Now that I have retired, I plan to get to it this spring. I would trade the black gloss tank for your orange tribal tins. Do you the complete set of orange tribal tins ? How would we do a trade like this ? I'm in Idaho.

Yes I have the compleat orange tins with the black tribal back fender side covers tank front fender I even got the back fender light when I was making my rent radiator I did scratch the bottom back front fender I can always dig all out of boxes and take pictures.
Can always see how much it will be to mail to you and you can mail tank to me .
Or in May I'm flying to Polman to see my daughter and pay to put in plane not sure what would be cheaper but can weigh it and see what the coast will be.
And I'm sure all my parts will coast more to ship then the tank if you can come up with the difference so our shipping coast is the same I'll be good.
As long as your black tank has no dents I'm ok with scratches .
The chrome gas lid you can take off and I'll keep mine as well and hopefully yours is a 05 so everything will be the same.
