Took bike for ride last friday evening, in about 23-25 degrees C weather- lovely evening
Rode 25m, switched off for 15mins, then when I came to ride off again;
- indicator errors came up (first front right reported on dash, then rear left), resulting in all indicators flashing c. Emergency lights but faster
- small red dot light at very top of dash came on and off intermittently (thought this was alarm indicator light, maybe not can't find description of it)
- red oil can warning light came on and stays on ... oil level fine!

Parked up for 2 hours, restarted, all fine but oil light stays on.

Local Triumph shop (30m away) phoned and got "that's odd, no idea".

we've had hot weather in uk, but bike not used regularly. bike stored most of time in locked garage on bike lift, hadn't trickle charged battery for about 2 weeks, but was starting absolutely fine.

Anyone any ideas?

Disconnect battery terminals altogether, both red + black and wait 1 hour or so and see what happens once you re-connect battery.

That's the first indication "turn signal errors" I get when the battery terminals need tightening. The turn signals act weird front, rear.... You need to remove all of the battery connection terminals and wire brush the corrosion off. The micro arcing produces a white mineral like substance, in the ionized metallic air. Then use some di-electric grease and tighten the heck out of them. That will fix it for awhile. Until you get the signal alarms again. The vibes are intense. Tighten them more.

Some vehicles will start but will not have the volts to work all the components in the system.
I see them come into the shop with transmission problems and all I do is clean terminals or replace battery. Had a diesel and while running one battery had 13volts and the other had 7volts.

Oil indicator light signals pressure, not oil quantity. I would not ride util oil pump is checked.
