I have disconnected faulty stepper motors and set the idle by the screw, on the 2.3 rockets. Take the little linkage off the stepper, so it doesn't adjust the speed. Leave the motor plugged in. Get the engine to about mid eighties degrees C as read in tune ECU. Set idle with the screw at approx 900 rpm, then balance throttle bodies to match within say 5 ( reading in the tune ECU screen) after this, the bike may idle faster. Adjust the screw so the bike idles at 925-930. Then set the idle speed in your tune at the same figure as what your bike has at the warm idle. This will ensure the ECU sees the same engine speed as the engine is doing and it won't throw a code. If your map sensor has been plugged into the incorrect plug and seen 12v it will likely be shagged. Hope this helps.
