It had to happen, the 2020 GT has 95,000 miles on it now so it is now sharing garage space with a 2025 Storm GT. The only thing I added to the Storm is a quick shifter, TPMS, and mid pegs. All are mandatory in my book, lol. I also had the Storms ecu modified and had the bike dyno tuned by Bt Moto in San Diego, boy what a difference! This thing is fire! You can watch BT Moto do their thing to my personal bike on You Tube where you can see him get my GT up to 190 mph on the dyno. It wont do that in the real world I am sure because like he says in the video it has the aerodynamics of a garage door. Anyway the Storm is a blast. And if anyone wants new front pegs they are for sale.

You gotta get it to at least 100k man. Any issues over that sort of lifespan?

Edit: also did you have a tune on the 20 as well? If so did you change the rev limiter at all? I hear people say it won't hurt the bike, but hearing it from someone with you milage would make me a believer!

Can I delve into your experience for a moment please? I've seen a 2020 GT with 30,000 miles on it - didn't know whether to be wary of it or not - what's dropped off/gone wrong in 95,000 miles? Will be consumables like tires and routine servicing of course - what else though? Clutch perhaps? Thoughts appreciated.

The clutch was replaced about 40,000 miles if I remember correctly. According to my dealership it was installed improperly at the factory so Triumph fixed it for free. Interestingly I was about 1300 miles from home in the mountains last summer when the transmission locked in 6th gear. I rode it all the way home with only sixth gear and it still did not fry the clutch, lol (some plates at the bottom of the trans wore out and didn't engage any more). The screen went dark a year or so ago and had to be replaced There was other stuff but nothing that has ever left me stranded on the road.
