YEP and a nice pic of that bike I was a KAW dealer and sold a lot of those and i had the 1/4 m drag race National record with one of those 11.98 @ 111 mph pretty snappy for a little 500cc bike

Yep, It was 45 or so years ago but that bike left an impression certainly. Nothing sounded or smelled like it at full howl.

Only had one 2 stroke motorcycle a Suzuki 500 Titan a good simple bike, but had a couple of GM 2 stroke powered trucks and loved the sound of that big screaming jimmy global warmer on the boil:inlove:inlove:inlove:inlove

YEP I had a Party BUS wth a V 92 TIA gm engine

I had a ZX-14R, crashed it earlier this year, so had the choice of either the R3T or the Ninja in the garage.

Personally, found the ninja very comfortable, much better braking, and great performance. I’m 6’3 and 225, and found the position on the ninja to fit me perfectly.

Generally, the ninja was easier to ride faster around the tiny backroads here in CT.

But, I much prefer the Rocket for longer cruising, anything over about 4 hours the Rocket wins hands down. And for driving 2-up it’s great.

Horses for courses.

And, now I really want an H2 SX SE.

I've never had one - But in the spirit of R&D I feel I should get one - Something little - A 750 triple maybe :sneaky:

Yamaha RD250 was my first legal road bike back in the day "1977" and the only two stroke 750 triple I could remember was the water cooled Suzuki GT750. I almost got caught up in ones vacuum as it blasted past me at over 100 while I was struggling to wring out 80 on the 250...

Wish I would've kept my 1972 Kawa H2 750 two stroke triple. Stupid bike but super fun.

Had the exact same bike, 1972 H2 with chambers. Nasty sound and crazy powerband.
