I don't think the GTR is a "wonder bike" either but neither is the Rocket from personal experience and reading the plenitude of problems on this forum it is not always a well assembled machine, a stock GTR will out corner/accelerate and out top end the stock Rocket, no need to fiddle to get it faster and as for reliability it is a typical Japanese assembled reliable machine, each to his own I still ride my old Touring and have ridden several roadsters in various stages of "fiddling" but personally prefer the GTR it's just a nice ride ,others can disagree, also I am no boy racer so racing other riders does not become a factor in my choice of bike:):)

YOUR just a GTR owner and I dont like riding them at all as they have no potential unlike the Rocket that is so restricted from the factory and is in such a mild state of tune and is a real monster when its modded and the king of all the cruisers that will crush even the fastest sport bikes and is still a comfy all day everyday rider that you can ride anywhere with your honey on the back with the rest of the cruiser crowd

WOW! you don't even know me and you make that judgement , well I am still waiting for the result of your Veyron V Rocket race you spoke of some time ago :whitstling::whitstling::whitstling::whitstling:,almost any machine can be made to go harder and faster but the base line is out of the factory a Rocket is not that much better than most of the sports bikes and a slug compared to some of the super bikes straight of the showroom floor,
anyhow this is developing into a boring Pissing competition I am only on this Forum to express my opinions on Motorcycles and in life general so I will refrain from further comment rather than continue this futile posting

I do know you we discussed this before its fine that you like your kaw 1400 but I dont like riding them I enjoy the Rocket for myself I actually own over 50 bikes so I have plenty of choices avaiable if I get bored I like the ZX1400 its would be my choice for a sport bike if I wanted one BUT Im having fun with the Rockets for now so the pissing contests will go on forever its called competition and is fun and makes it interesting I love taking the Rockets and retuning them to whip the hell out of the SPORT BIKES its a real blast

Speaking of fast Rockets Art. How about an update on the Streamliner. I did not see it come out this year for record attempts or practice.
