You think a Rocket is a Big Girl

It appears to be missing 3 cylinders from each side

Nice looking bike...if i understand your Sophia reference correctly you must call your R3 Thatcher or similar?

Just so happens that our weekend visitors are Cali1400 owners. Sergi rides distance usually with his son on the back.

The Engines are solid. Handle very well. Comfy. But they are NOT quick off the mark.
I have ridden a few and need to have them in sports mode. And I am not a throttle whacker.
The plus is they do have the rain mode which is useful if it rains. Very confidence inspiring.

The only cautionary note. They are heavy to get up off the side stand.
Whereas on teh R3 I would actually be happy to find a left slope to park on - the Cali you may want a slightly right slope.

But some of the ancillary parts are a bit dodgy - Starter motors for example.
And they suffer from the current Guzzi irritation that pretty much everything is hidden behind a little cover.
And some of the covers can be fiddly. I spend most Thursdays in a Guzzi workshop.
As I have smallish hands I often get roped in to do little fiddly covers.

If I had the choice I would look for it's immediate predecessor called the California Vintage.
Less electronics.

But then I am biased.
