You all take care of yourselves

I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) a few years ago. I was on the computer when I went blind in my right eye then the left eye darkened. I went in the bedroom and told my wife," I think I'm having a stroke". She replied "fack off, I have to get up for work tomorrow" and pulled the blanket over her head. Fortunately I had an old phone with an actual dialpad and was able to feel for the numbers and was relieved to hear the 911 operator. Lucky for me the specialist said the Emerg doctor knew what he was doing and I ended up with virtually no lasting damage other than realising that my marriage was in a bit of trouble .
I hope you have a similar outcome to me.........without the sociopathic wife bit.

Hi all, I'll be 70 years old this September. Lived a hard life, all self induced. Just had a TIA, (minor stroke) Friday, and just got out of hospital yesterday evening. Scared the chit out of me. Right side of body dead, couldn't speak, drooling out the side of my mouth, etc. etc. I'm feeling better today, but sure am glad I wasn't on one of my Rockets when it happened. I would have crashed for sure. No notice, happened like flipping a switch. Just wish I had taken better care of myself, in earlier years, but it's too late now, to go back. You young-ens enjoy life to the fullest, cause gettin old ain't for sissy's. I think it's time to thin out my 6 motorcycle collection.;)
