I have just put about 60 miles on the the new Raptor and at 115 to 120 I had a wobble show up. This wasn't there with the bike tire. Any ideas or is this a common occurence with the CT?
Valmac had a similar problem I will check his old posts to see what he did, you could always go to your local Hwy Patrol office and explain the situation to them they might know what to do.
I dont regularly cruise at 100+ so I will say, that getting to that height, dyna beads (innovative balancing) are, to that point, smooth at silk on Zeon 2XS at 10k miles. And after seeing the tread wear bars on my rear skin today I doubt I'll get 15k before changing it out. Thats less than twice what a Metz would have given when down to the cords. But, with only 5k to go I still won't have the fret with needing to change it out immediately.
Before the Raptor, I cruised at 120 to 125 numerous times with now problems ever on the bike tire. And thats with the Corbin fairing on. When the wobble came on was just after I had passed a couple of big rigs. Maybe I got into some dirty air or something. I will try again later in the week and see what happens.
