Anywhere on the R3 Std I can pick up a 5VDC supply?
I know a items like the temperature sensor are 5V but I think they are parts of a loop off the ECU. I need a clean 5VD for a MAP sensor to hook into my PCV.
I have the MAP sensor but it requires a 5vdc supply and there doesn't seem to be one on the PCV but it accepts a 0-5VDC input for a MAP sensor.
Thanks in advance, even if its to tell me I'm stuffed and need a different sensor.

Please clarify, there's no MAP 5vdc supply on the ECU (that I know of) as there's no MAP sensor on stock bikes, just Air Temp, this is loop powered so I cannot tap of this.
The PCV has a MAP input but its 0-5vdc, but not loop powered so I need to supply a source voltage to power the sensor seperate from the loop.
All stock bikes have a 1 bar map sensor. That 5 volt pick up on the pcv is to receive say a signal from a 2 or 3 bar map sensor for boost fueling. It probably could also be used for NOS fueling.

Thanks, yes your right of course they do have edited previous above post to Pedro, don't know what I was thinking its the unit with the three hoses that crack. I was even asking questions about this in a previous post. Must get more sleep.
I am converting to a 3 Bar MAP sensor for a project I'm working on, with Paul Bryant's assistance, I must add.
