Winter Battery Woes...

Ride in the cold??

How cold do you ride in?/

I ride to work everyday that the roads are clear and the forecast is good. Of course, if my battery will start E-III. Coldest so far has been about 25 deg. I only have to ride about 3 miles to work so the khakis are just about frozen solid when I get there.

I have one of those neopreme (sp?) masks with the tiger face and fangs printed on it. It goes well with my flames helmet and red-bug-eye goggles. I get a kick out of sitting at lights and watching the kids in the passing cars point at me with their mouths wide open.

Raining this morning so it's the gas-hog Tahoe this time.

Lets see....we have water, no hurricanes, no bugs bigger than we are and no Kubans.

I have to admit: Mitchygan is one of the very few states I've not set foot in. But if your neck of the woods has anywhere the species and quantity of mosquitoes as Alaska, Minisoda, Savannah GA or Poowheretoe Rica then I've been there. Actually Alaskas mosquite pop. is dwarfed by white sock and no-seeums. I'd prefer bugs the size that I can shoot! Savannah GA has 38 varieties, one of which lives through winter in sub-freezing temperatures. Deer hunting in a cloud of 'em is a bit distracting
