I recently bought a Cee Baileys tall windshield. I get alot of wind coming up from under the handlebars. I'm thinking lowers might help. Anybody have them ? Do they work ? And most importantly where did you get them ? As always, any help appreciated. This website blows me away with the amount of good information that is available. Fred

Welcome to the forum, melandfred.

Yes they work, to a point. Not very stylish, though. I have them on my fast red bike.

they are really ugly, and a real pain to clean bug guts off of....... but my helmet stopped doing its impersonation of a paint shaker after I installed them so it was well worth it...... really cuts down the buffeting

..they help with the buffeting..ugly, but so is a windshield..but also a necessary evil when the temps start to drop..where ya located?..I got mine a few days ago in Jersey, free shipping..here's some second hand info that originally came from warp 9 I think..

"You need to contact Scot Lukaitus of Freehold Honda Triumph in Jersey 732-462-4881 he is the parts manager. free shipping over 40.00"

..I also saw 'em on flea bay for about the same price as the dealer, but that didn't include shipping..

Melandfred, how's the quality on the CeeBailey sheild? I think I'm about to pull the trigger and get one to replace my roadster screen.

Winshield Lowers

Hi all, the reason I bought the Cee Baileys is it was the tallest one I could find.(The wife hates wind). The only complaint I have with it is at the bottom where it curves back toward the fork leg they made kind of a cut-out . I think if they had just curved it around like my Harley windshield I wouldn't get so much wind in my face. I know this because if I block that area with my hand the wind noise around my head quits on which ever side I block. Other than that it's good. Optical clarity is good even at night. Fred
