Hi all,
Since I've got such great help from this site I thougt I'd try to add something (however insignificant) back:
1. Those of us with a Roadster screen on our R3s will know that you can't adjust it to its full height because the acorn nuts which hold the plastic screen to its frame (bottom of the screen on the far right and left) foul the larger fixing nuts. If you remove those two screen attachment acorn nuts and their screws, and turn them the other way around you can get more height.
2. I have the Triumph fog lamp kit on my R3 but was disturbed (more so than normal) that the on/off switch is not protected from the elements. If you go to your local Ace Hardware (assuming you're in the U.S.) you can find a rubber switch cover with exactly the right thread inside it to screw onto the switch. However, the threaded part of the switch protrudes just slightly too far from the housing for the cover to be a tight fit. This is cured by super-gluing an appropriately sized rubber washer to the base of the rubber cover. Then just unscrew the small jam nut form the switch and screw on the cover.
Hopefully someone will find this useful.
Regards,
Mark
