Hello Turdbugler and welcome from Virginia. How young are you? I have recently discovered there are more than 30 men in America over 20 that have not ridden a motorcycle and I tell ya, I am appalled.

What a bargain does she start?

She’s running great so far, but I’ve only put about 100 miles on her, so still TBD...but I’m optimistic so far! The lady selling it said it had not been started in at least three years and didn’t know the mileage because it wouldn’t start. The bike was about 3 hours away, so I took a chance and headed up to Knoxville from ATL with a new battery, some starter fluid and a buddy who also owns a 05 black rocket. Needless to say when we switched out the battery and saw the mileage, I was over the moon. The motor turned over right away, but didn’t fire, so we pulled the air filter and sprayed a little starter fluid in. She fired right up and has been running great ever since. I’ve changed the oil and filter. Planning to pull the plugs...anything else you would recommend doing for one that day that long?
