Wheel bearings

The bearing on the drive shaft side is a double ball bearing. Not sure how common they are. Your landlord sounds like a good guy to have for a mate ! Like my father says "what good are are friends if you can't use um"

I've driven several cars past 200,000 miles and I can't remember the last time I changed a wheel bearing. My current car has 203,000. 340 horsepower and 390 ft lbs. of torque. ALL bearings still hanging in there.

Apparently batteries and bearings last a long time with you. You lead a charmed life.

I don't know about that. I've had Hodgkins Lymphoma twice and two different kinds of skin cancer I do have pretty good luck in other aspects of my life though
All three of my 10 year old batteries are still kickin'. I'm thinkin' of maybe replacing the one in the Rocket instead of waiting for it to die on me in the middle of tin buck 4
