I wonder if they told the insurance company that the bike ran into the back of them ?
 
Oh yes, they're out there alright. And now they all have mobile phones and the concentration span of a goldfish.
 
I am not a particularly litigious man but I would have been sorely tempted to drop to the ground crying "my back, my back-I may never be able to ride my beloved bike again-my back"
 
To answer the OP's question and the riddle that is this thread's title, I would say that there's nothing at all wrong with idiots and, clearly, that is why God has made so very many of them.

I asked my wife this last Sunday after we got back from a ride, I said sweetie while we are riding do you ever get scared? She said not from you, but the idiots in the cars around us scare the **** out of me.

It made me sad to hear that,
 
I am still in awe or is it shock at that video.
And we thought we only had to watch for idiots who are about to rear-end us when at a stoplight!!!
