Whats missing?

Just noticed this empty bolt hole (?). After sifting through some pics on the site I am thinking the hole used to have something that looks like a plug in it. Can anyone help me out? It is near the brake pedal on the right side Is whatever was there decorative or was it actually holding something together? It is a 2015 R3T.

AFAIK this is for manufacturing, possibly a jig or lift point. I don't believe anything goes in there from the factory. If it does a whole lot of Rockets are missing something. I think you are good to go with the hole there.

Btw, I now see how dirty my Rocket really is, lol. I thought it was not too bad.
 
My old 2006 has that casting too. Still have the chrome plug in it. It doesn't seam to be anything other than a hole.
