So, Lupe, if Bud's bike has a quality batwing fairing w/ a stereo and some added gauges or gadgets, i'd think that he might nudge the asking price up $1,000 - $1,500 and hope to get 18 to 19 grand for it. Still hard to say without seeing it, but I think my numbers put your friend firmly in the ballpark.

It is posted as a 2007. I asked the guy to confirm the build date on the vin. He went out to the bike. He said he could see the month but not the year. Were silver engines offered in 2007 ?

ON the Rocket Classic Tourer they were. Nice looking change to the paint scheme yet still classic style. 217 is pretty darn good with a set of Jardines choking her
