what seat?

Did you get your seat made here in the Redlands?

I've just returned to this forum after an extended absence. I didn't realize it when I posted the response above, but I have posted a picture of the Russell seat on my first R3T in the photo album.

I am new and still and idiot when it comes to finding/searching for past posts. I couldn't find your post where you included the photo of your Russell seat. I am 6'4" and 240 and my but bone aches after 100 miles. The bike is new so I just getting used to it, but I think I need a new seat. Sounds like you are sold on Russell. I will get them a look over. If you still have the photo that would be great. Thanks.

There are some pictures of R3 seats on their web site:

Thanks for the link. I just spoke to Russell. Their ride-in, one day option sounds perfect. Except that they are booked until November and have 75 on their waiting list. I became 76. I will also consider the two weeks for the mail in option. As you might guess, having a new bike with no seat for 2 weeks doesn't sound too appealing.

I think I am sold on Russell though. Thanks for the heads up.

If you can make the trip, having them fit the seat with you sitting on the bike would be ideal.
