Has anyone done any research regarding fuel air ratios and changing them?
I am wondering if the cruise can be leaned a little to improve economy without risk of engine damage and if there are any changes that can be made to increase power at wider throttle openings?
I know a lot of you do dyno runs, have power commanders, etc; so I am guessing someone must have got some figures from somewhere....
Hi John, I found this K&N item last night, not what you want but it shows acceptable A/F ratios at around 17:1 for economy down to 12:1 for power performance. If you check it out on the K&N web site it gives some good info which may be useful to you. K&N 85-2437 Air/Fuel Ratio - Complete kit
