So, while await shipment of the new studs and nuts, I have plenty else to keep me busy. Like assembling the rear wheel and reinstalling it.
First I must clean up the screws that hold the disk to the rim. I first cleaned the locktite with a jewelers screwdriver and the a wire brush. Next I used my new tap and die kit.
Next to clean out the holes.
Next, I used canned air to blow it clear and test fit a screw.
Once all screws were test fitted, I pulled them out and put the disk in place. I applied medium strength locktite to each screw.
Next is to clean up the screws for the ABS gear wheel. I guess the is what it is.
Make sure you have an extension magnet on hand as one of those small screw will fall inside the hub.
And have a magnetic dish to hold metal bits.
And of course Elie is here to help.
