There are a good many parts for the R3 that are used in other applications. Sensors, bearings, cam chains, etc.
The starter core is a Honda automotive part with a custom nose.
The cam chain tensioner is a copy of that on the 87-92 oil cooled Suzuki GSXRs.
Some of the valvetrain parts cross over to other applications.

These 560 motors come in factory race supermoto's and I think KTM pushed the engine past it's reliable limit. In most cases the crank becomes out of true and it starts eating crank bearings. When it goes back together the crank will be trued, balanced, and the crank pins welded to keep it true. It's also getting a Carillo rod and some other goodies. It's a nasty bike in the mountains road racing, not much can touch it when it's running
