here's an open invitation from the best tour guide in these parts, Martin.
Should you ever desire to get "on" Manhattan again or to see some of the treasures in our fair state across the Hudson River, just say the word I will be at your service!
Per the sales guy, it was a demo from Triumph. Quite a few add-ons to show off, I suppose. The seat is not stock, but was far more cosmetically attractive than stock.
And now, I am the lucky owner of a 2012 Triumph Rocket III Roadster!
Say hello to Zoe:
She's a '12 MY as mentioned, one previous owner who due to recent hip surgery had to sell the bike as he was unable to ride this kind of bike any more. She's got about 6 months left on the factory warranty, has only done 1500 miles, and comes with a few extras like upgraded exhaust (Triumph option, which sounds great to my mind with far more bass than stock) and accompanying tune, tank pads, black teardrop mirrors, handlebar risers (which is perfect considering I want to put the T-Bird Storm dragbars on), as well as a bunch of the Triumph detailing (eh, could have taken or left these, but shiny!).
Picked her up in the pouring rain today, and grinned the whole way back to the office.
