Six Guns...that's a real nice bike I often find myself looking at Valkyries with a longingly expression...don't get me wrong i wouldn't swap the rocket for one. But i do think their a great bike and if i had the space for another bike i would get one.
That's the problem that I'm having right now. I have 55,000 trouble free miles on my Valkyrie and I'm afraid to say that I'm very attached to it. On the other hand I want a Rocket III Roadster in a bad way. I really don't need two bikes so something is gonna have to give. When the Rocket III Roadster comes out next year, I'll have to make a decision.
I have almost 55,000 trouble free miles on my Rocket.. Though, that Goldwing/Valkyrie motor is hard to beat. I've seen Goldwings falling apart around the motor, but the motor still runs great!..
Hey Dave . . . I'm coming to your neck of the woods next week for thanksgiving. Deb's sisters in Converse. We should get together for a cold one. I need to find the Triumph shops over there . . . t-shirts.
When the I had to sell the Boss, I had heard nothing but good about the Valkyrie so I purchased this 01 Interstate that I soon stripped down to a Super Valk. I had talked one of my sons into buying this Rocket instead of a Busa. He did, but still was wanting a Busa and said he was going to sell the Rocket. So I sold my Valk and bought the Rocket from him. So far I really like the Rocket now that it has had the tranny upgrade, new seat with riders back rest, throttle lock, highway pegs, GI Pro ATRE, taller windsheild, car tire and now tail pipes and soon to change out the mirrors.
