If your still making money, Wyoming has no income tax. It's nice to live in or near Montana as they have no sales tax.
Motorcycle season is short. About four months tops.

I have lived in Great Falls as a youth, old man was stationed at Malmstrom during the Cuban missile crisis and JFK's assassination. We saw very little of him during those days. Perhaps I can find a longer riding season elsewhere ?

Sadly these mountains in which we live are becoming completely saturated with autos. Knowing that and my age keeps marching on, I'll need to come off this mountain someday. Where in the corner of the three states in the title would a BBQ makin, pie bakin hillbilly do well ? Input please. A motorcycle oasis if you please. I ain't skeered of winter or solitude.

I was born in Brooklyn, lived in many states, OK, TX, NY, CN, CA, WI, NV. I like cities, the more populated the better. I love visiting the country and rural towns and places but wouldn't want to live there. Now in Las Vegas, no income taxes, good roads, 24 hour lifestyle. Overall great weather, 3 months real hot the rest are great, even in the bad months the nights are good. Great place to be retired. Cheap to live here. Best part is when I ride my bikes to the places with rivers and lakes and stuff that grows because it rains, all of it seems beautiful because I don't see it every day. After a week or so I'm always ready to get back to the city.

Idaho be the best compromise. The southwest area has great year round weather. Relatively dry, not much rain. Dry most of the time. Mild winters in the valley and all the snow you want in the mountains. Long days in summer. Clear blue skies. Sunset after 9:00 pm and another hour of sky glow. Not many cops. We can be ourselves and can live self reliant lives. We have the largest Roadless Wilderness area in the lower 48. We allow guns and folks can actually use most of the public lands for free. We have more dirt roads than paved roads. Great paved and unpaved motorcycle roads too.
