Hi all, i`ve been installing tuneboy today to my rocket which has tors, cat-bypass, triple k&n and i thought this would be the best tune for now

20050_3 20050 Rocket III with Triumph off road pipes, cat box eliminator, full power in all gears, speedo corrected and TuneBoy pod air filters

Is this what you would have used, only thing is i`m not convinced it`s given me full power in all gears because it seems to tell me in tune edit that the rev limiter is set at 6300 rpm ?

As far as i know its not the rev limiter that restricts 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears, its actually the ECU/injection system.
I have the same set up as you, except i have a single K&N and i use the same tune as you, and i have noticed a difference in the first three gears.
I have left the rev limiter as it was before i inserted the tune.
If this is incorrect i am sure someone will be along soon to let me know

Same here mate, two good days at the Bulldog, and back to this f/ing rain.
Its by far the worst biking summer i have seen in 30 years of riding

Hi Jolly. Sounds like the right tune.

Full power also reflects the fact that the throttle body secondary butterfly valves are fully open in all 5 gears, rather than just 4 & 5. Normally in 1, 2 & 3 the secondary butterflies are opened progressively by the ECU, regardless of your throttle position, which controls only the primary butterflies.

In TuneEdit advanced view click on the "Sec" tab which illustrates the opening of the secondary valves. Yours should be 100% in all cells.

If you haven't ridden it yet then you will positively know that you have full throttle in all gears :D . Take care on those damp roads! Zaphod is correct about the ECU not allowing the secondary butterflies to fully open in the first three gears. The term full power as used by Triumph btw is to differentiate between their restricted tunes for France and Germany and their "full power" tunes used everywhere else. These these full power tunes still have the restrictions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as opposed to Tuneboy which really is full power.
