Hi Guys, Yes it seems I'm pretty stupid cos I've been trying for days to compare maps using tuneecu but whatever I try I just can't get to compare maps. I open the compare map function & get my map list in a window titled "compare with" I select the map I want to compare with the one which is already open but nothing happens, I'm left with my originally selected map & nothing changes. I sure would appreciate some help here.

First you open a map file, then compare file - it will ask you for another map file name . When you have specified the second file, you will be viewing the original map. Then push down on the F6 key and it will go to the same table in the second map. You can see the values change assuming the maps are different. If you specify a graphical display, pushing F6 (and holding it) displays the same table's graph in the second map.

Just discovered that F5 key switches between graphic & numeric display. So now I can see how one tune differs from another, just wish I knew what all the info. means now, maybe someone out there can explain - in simple terms that is, don't want to change anything but would like to know what is being altered by changing the numbers in the cells when the AFR remains unchanged when I thought it would the whole point was to alter it. Over to you specialist guys who seem to write the books on this tuning thing, for me I'll just accept it on faith but curiosity (killing the cat) makes me want to understand just a little.

02 sensor

When u click on devices on the left hand side and o2 sensor is ticked does this meen it is still there or is it ticked meaning it has been removed ?
can someone help this dislexic dummy out lol:D

I'm no expert Mitch as you can tell but the the check box being ticked indicates that the O2 sensor is being used, unchecked takes it out of use. I of course stand to be corrected by the tuning Guru's. Hope it helps

Hi,

If a hook is in the box, the device is activated.
