I cannot get the ECU serial number, what is wrong.
1. You need to make sure that you have the correct type of tune open. Make sure you have a Keihin tune open if your bike has the Keihin ECU, the same applies for the Sagem, Webber, VDO and Delphi ECU's. Have a look at the list of tunes to select the correct tune for your bike.
2. If your cable is the new USB tuneboy cable and this shows up in the serial port drop down list as TuneBoy Cable(COMnn) then you need to have cable type set to 2, if the cable is listed as USB Serial Port(COMnn) then you should set the cable type USB.
3. Try removing the tick from "Precision timer" in the TuneEdit properties, also try adjusting the wait time as outlined in the troubleshooting section of the documentation.
