I need a new, or old I suppose, watch.
I have the opportunity to purchase a new Triumph branded watch at a discount.
These are just over $600 AUD retail.
That’s more than I have ever spent on a watch, but if it’s good value I am tempted.
They look pretty good too.
changed battery on mine years ago never been right since sent it into get repaired kept good time for a month OR so then ITS back TO being slow whats up with the caps? But it is a BLACK watch
No they are way overpriced at even half that price. The chronometer only have 5ATM 50metre water resistance which is OK forshowering and a spalsh in the pool.
They are on special everywhere at the moment and still expensive in my opinion.
For that price the WENGER swiss series are great value I have an old 7471X/T 10ATM 100metres water resistance that is tough as nails and now on its 4 battery all replaced at home and never a smidgeon of water issues.
45mm dial width, extra large date, 2nd watch on small LH dail and Stop watch or seconds on RHS. I always keep the 2nd watch on GMT/Zulu which was very handy for my work before retirement where we always had Zulu times to convert to local in writing incident reports and arranging foreign military aircraft movements etc.
You would need to know what movement it has and who makes it. Many times a dial is added to a lesser movement to attract a certain market. It may or may not be a watch worth money. I almost bought an Indian Motorcycle watch but was instructed it was not a good value. Do your research.
