I did get a hitch from Hitchdoc. It fits perfectly as long as you havent moved the tag/turn signal bracket. If you have relocated it the cut aways for the turn signals wont be in the right place. As for the Beetle bags . . nope. I looked at Dennis' bike last week and the bags curl under in the back right where the hitch goes down. No way. I ended up using the leatherlike bags but am still looking at some of the aftermarket hard bags. If you use the leatherlike bags you have to modify the mounts . . there are pictures of the hitch, mounts and bags in my photo gallery.
AND trailers ARE great! I have a cooler, poker table, full set of scuba gear, wet bar, and a Honda CT70 for emergencies . . .
