So, with the bike revving at over 2000 this morning it was the wake up call I needed to get my butt in gear and get this done.
I have read every (and I mean every) post on the subject of the TPS and I am now crossed eyed as a result.
I think I have the idea of what to do now but still have a question or two. I'm pretty handy but when I read this on the TuneECU site, it gets me nervous...
Very Important !!!!!! This software is not a TOY but a tool for professionals.
I don't know too much about the way my bike is set up as it is as I bought it (used) I know it has a Power Commander unit on it and after market pipes (Triumph).
I found a handy post by PowerTripp which makes it look pretty simple but it's missing a couple of points. What I need is a "TPS replacement for Dummies". I assume I can download TuneECU but can it be used with my setup? If so, I guess I will need a cable. Where do I get that? Where do I connect it?
I know I'm pushing the Genie limit again and I apologize if these seem like basic questions but I relatively new to this machine and it just seems so different to anything else I've worked on.
