Finally got to install the Primary TPS today. Once again followed the directions an advice that you can easily find here by doing a search. Big girl is back to her normal self, in fact better than before.
First one I have had to replace, but now I understand alot more about how it can throw more out than just the idle. Thanks to @Mittzy and @motolink for offering me their spare TPS while I was waiting for mine, simple gesture I know, but really appreciated:). Chris

Assuming the TPS part number is the same for all years of Rockets..... what is the correct part number for the Primary TPS?

I've read on here where the part number was either switched with the secondary TPS or the number was off altogether. Websites like BikeBandit and so forth. Not sure if any of this true but would like to know the part number that will work on the bike....thanks.

Thats what I bought @Paul Bryant and @mully95 the T1245113 Primary. When I was reading through the forum I noticed that evilmitch had a problem when he ordered some time ago on bike bandit. I just made sure that it said Primary and crossed my fingers. The latest version apparently has the T1245113 designation and has the blue centre. It superceded another part number that I cannot recall. But I found all the info I needed by searching "high idle" on here.

Mines the same p/n as Paul & Clay due to same year model. I sent a message to Hermy's n they confirmed from last six of my vin number. Mully, since yours is 2010 you should go to Hermy's Triumph.com & send them a message with last six of your vin. They will email you the correct p/n

Cal-Moto states it is for all Rockets:

@Clay For reference what did you pay for yours and where from? I realise all Triumph dealers here in Oz could source but only found one listing online for the part number in Oz with Google.

Gudday @Ishrub that link is the one I used. 202.70 AU in Tassie at Northwest Motorcycles. They seemed a little disorganised but nice enough. They only had one, which I got. Motolink said on my other thread that he recently got one from Team Moto Triumph in Moss st. Said they had a box full of TPS for a few models for around $200. Chris
