Can anyone see why I shouldnt use Toyota red coolant in the rocket? I already had some in my workshop for my Landcruisers .
Ive been using it for 7-8 years on the Toyotas with good results

As an ex-Toyota dealer of twenty five years, I can say it's good stuff & will be fine. I assume it's the long-life, anti freeze, anti boil stuff????

But the old, old warning prevails - don't mix coolants if you're not sure what was in there before. Make sure it's thoroughly flushed.

Of course, its also the undiluted stuff you mix 50:50 with distilled water. I used to have to go to the dealer to get it but now you can get it a bit cheaper at a number of outlets

I filled up the engine/radiator 2-3 times till the water coming out was clear as drinking water.

I guess there are other coolants that are as good, but Ive taken both the landcruisers(I sold one to buy the R3) to some horribly remote and hot areas of WA and its cooling system has never let me down, even with the aircon on full bore all day.
