when i loaded 20368 nels derestricted tune this is where i was at, not ideal but it didnt melt anything, 14.1 is about comfort margain but like i said i ran there for a year and hard
Just a little info, the rocket is forgiving on a stock application is what ive been told so i dont think you need to worry but maybe some afr rocket scientist will put down some knowledge in here. Im tuning now and have a 13.1 goal, it moves around some though not much but its close, also depends what youre tuning for, mileage or power i dont care about mileage any
Running a Dynojet pod-300 with the wideband o2 sensor
it’s runningover 15 on a few occasions out to 16 momentarily in 3-5th gears anywhere around 2800 rpm... slightly dropping or increasing throttle drops the afr back to 13-14something.... there is a band that just runs real lean and it seems to be the cruising throttle range ..... not sure I wanna run for an hr at a time somewhere between 15 and 16
I run the Pod too, if I crack the throttle quickly I get high numbers for a second, I've always written it off as lack of responsiveness in the gauge or read out, it always settles back down. No problems in 12,000 miles since Carpenter build and tune..

So I have been reviewing the tables in the tune.... I’m even more confused now as if anything it looks like this remapped tune gives more not less fuel than other tunes???
Yeh I get that part... just confused about why a tune that looks leaner in the numbers on the f tables than this one (even the standard 20368) runs rich and this runs lean on my bike.... I must be missing something
