TORS installed this morning!!

Got my TORS pipes from the dealer last night 30% off, $400 out the door and they're going on this morning, now it will sound like a real motorcycle! Getting all ready for "Maggie Valley".

I prefer to ride with earplugs, though. With the pipes and wind (windshield removed) my ears ring. But cagers...they just hate it when they're on the phone and their window is down and I'm just in front of their front door. It's the most fun when sitting at an intersection...Jeez, I didn't realize that my tailpipes were perfectly aligned with their ears. If that doesn't get them, then a blast from the Stebel usually does the trick. :twisted:

I'm going to run a wire straight from my (new Odyssey) battery through a relay from a switched 12 volt source (headlight) and install some 1/4" rubber insulation under my amp to help with vibration see if that helps the situation.

I can't wait to meet up with a few of you that have the TORS and the PREDS. (Gr3ywolf you aren't that far away) I like loud pipes but I just hear the earplug comments and wonder which way I should go. At this point I'm waiting for Warp to get his pipes from Sam so I can buy his CAT elim and was thinking I was going to Triumph pipes with CAT elim (and of course new tune), but I think I need to hear some of these pipes before I make that decision...

You're right...I'm not that far away and am just itchin' to ride out your way. But it's been difficult 'cause we can't seem to get more than one day in a row of decent weather.
