To Wave or Not to Wave

Ok Ok, you are rolling down a nice 2 lane road, and you see a bike approaching. You get ready to wave at the biker until you realize its a cop. Do you still wave?
 
That depends on how commited you are in the wave!!!!
Or if it is a traffic violation to let go of your handlebar???? Not sure if anywhere has this ruling??

Isn't it a traffic violation to be on a motorbike?????



I wave at nearly everyone.... by the time you see it's a cop, you can't un-wave.

Anyway, I usually get a nod back..

I Agree with all of the above, if it has two wheels and a motor it get a wave
 
I usually work out it's a copper coming towards me long before he's within waving distance and keep my hands on the bars.
