Before the op I set it up on the ATV lift so it was ready to go so while I have been recouping it was time to update some parts.
The clutch was taking up right at the end of the travel, and the cam chain had a slight rattle can noise happening.
I have been accumulating parts over a period of time, so it was time to,
Replace the clutch plates & springs with heavy duty MTC.
Replaced lifter and actuator shafts.
Replace clutch cable
Replace detent spring
Replace the cam chain, sprockets and tensioner blades.
Check and adjust valve clearances.
New spark plugs, oil, filter, coolant.
It was all pretty straight forward to do, lots of advise on the forum and also a couple of PM's were sent and only to willing to answer with there knowledge.
Found the spring assembled wrong on the actuator shaft which made the clutch very light, you can see the groove worn on the shaft in the picture.
Have to say the guys at Team Moto Springwood service were very helpful, swapped around valve shims and loaned the cam tool FOC
All back together and now ready for more trouble free riding
