Forget it Macrider, you will not educate the uneducatable the difference is that they talk from opinion based on imagination where as you, myself and anybody Who has actually tried one are talking from fact granted there are a couple who didn't like it but at least They did try it, I respect them for that as long as they don't try and intimidate others to their opinion, the Darkside is not for everyone especially not for those that can't think outside the square.
As for the police booking them for being unroadworthy I have been pulled over a couple of times now and while they amazed at the size of the tire there was never any suggestion of being unroadworthy even after I told them it was a hi performance car tyre, if anything they wereintriguedd at how they haveenought flex to keep so much rubber on the road, I even had a couple of Highway patrol officers come over to me in a servo while I was having a break and asked me how it handled and they were telling me how in their training they were taught about how much a modern Hi performance car tyre can be pushed because of the flex built in to them. I would suggest that those that were slapped with a unroadworthy areprobablyy Patch guys (cops just love patch guys) orSmart-arsess horsing around
