Actually, both of our cars connect with our iPhones when we start them.
We can answer calls by pushing one button on the steering wheel, and "talking to the car."
We can make calls by pushing the same button, and telling the car who we want to call.
In both instances, we never have to take our eyes off the road.
That said, I probably don't receive or make more than 2-3 calls a week while driving, and I would never either text or look at a text while driving.
We have similar capabilities with the bluetooth enabled wireless intercom systems we have in our MC helmets, both to make/take calls, and listen to music.
I've never set that up, as it seems both too much "hands on," and distracting.
