Thinking of supercharging.

Thanks for the input how often do these second hand units come around and roughly how much would i be looking at money wise.? I raced the bike at the westdale dirt drags and was only beaten by my mate who i put a cbr 1000 motor in his polaris 525 he is a more aggressive rider and thats why he probably one. Live to ride magazine photographer was there and my bike will be in the magazine in Apr or May edition. I use my bike as a work bike at home around the market garden and she has no problem pulling the trailer , I love it.

WHY don't you just modify the engine you can make more than 200 HP without a supercharger

Sorry, I thought the comment about the paper weight and no insurance implied you couldn't use it.

And you would be correct. Only I have a cunning plan, I'm calling the insurance crowd tomorrow and will see if they fall for it ha

I would think that all mechanical, naturally aspirated might be the safest bet (most reliable) for your application, flash. The only power that you might leave on the table would be generally unusable, I'd guess.

Thanks for the advice I was looking for something more theatrical but your advice is very wise .The factory power is quite overwhelming at the moment no other quad seems to be able to compete.
