Today driving in the cage.... (School Run) I see a Yammie Cruiser (Small one) trying to carve though the traffic - I think he was a little inexperienced - wobbles etc...
My mind immediately goes to the R3 and wished I cold show this bloke a real bike....
Then I hear a 1200 behind me, A HD Fat Bob I think.... We stop at the lights and the HD pulls along side of the YAM and gives him the look up and down as if to say "You Peasant".... Lights go green and ALL NOISE breaks lose and the HD is off. then he slows down in the traffic to get next to this YAM and is intimidating this poor wretch, "what a cockhead" is what I bleated out. MAN I WISH I WAS ON THE R3. and not in a car with 3 teenage girls

I know what you mean ,it's funny how the bad boy façade shrinks when the Hog guys pull up beside a Rockets ,sort of honey someone shrunk my HOG look,I usually let them blast off in their own little ego trip unless they make too much of a deal of it then its a quick painful humiliation, off the lights they have no chance!, when I had my Harley on the road the gap wasn't so big in performance except for the big Jap bikes that I left alone.

Saw a guy on a brand new looking matte black nightster the other day while driving my friends' car... My friends were staring at me in horror from the passenger seats because I started screaming about what an idiot he was in less than couth terms because he was wearing a tank top, cargo shorts, sandals, carbon fiber knuckled gloves, a full face helmet and a scarf with dangling ends. I continued ranting when he almost rear ended a car coming to a light, duck walked backwards, wobbled and jerked his way between cars like he had no idea how to work a clutch, almost fell over sideway onto cars twice and generally rode like a toddler that just had the training wheels taken off of his bike. That little skill and that little protection combined...

I really hope that man is still breathing.

Ran into a scooter rider girly yesterday .. chick riding it with nothing on in regards to protective gear .. you all know how this one ends .. hahaha

A few years ago I was behind a guy on his brand new Harley at a light, he was adorned with his new Harley helmet, Chaps, Boots and Jacket with fringes. he killed the bike three times trying to make a left turn from a dead stop. I almost followed the guy home just to see if he'd fall over when he got there

Just yesterday I watched a HD go by. Driver in shorts, tank top, sandals and (I'm assuming) his young 10 year old~ who was on the back wearing the same.
But its ok they both had full face helmets on.

At least that way when they go down and die from infection their faces will look good in the casket.

And its not just HD guys that I see like that.

A ZX-14R rider in my neighborhood cuts between cars at the light or on to the shoulder to get to the front of the line for the green. He is a big Black fellow (mentioned only as a descriptor and not inferring a racial matter) and I am hoping to get a chance to speak with him soon. I can take him off the line but I won’t chase him through rush hour traffic. His bike is unique enough that I will find him soon and let him know many people are not amused by his lack of decorum.

Oh, but how I wish that was the custom here as it is in other parts of the world. I wish we could "filter" here in the nanny state of Virginia.

I went down to the Star Spangled celebration over the weekend. As I was crossing the road, and the traffic was stopped at the lights, a motorcycle cop filtered past a couple of cars to the front. I asked him why I couldn't do that on my bike, and he said that I could if I got the lights.

Pretty Pillion and I were there. Not many bikes on Saturday in the rain though... My hats off to the UK Pipers, they did a great job on Federal Hill...
