I am pretty sure this was it. the prototype rocket II that was powered by propane.

ya, that's a GW.

I used to ride a Honda '76 GL1000, I had a lot of fun on it and riding on the R3 now reminded me the first time when I went from a 150cc dirt bike to a 1000 hog. since the delivery, I took 2 days off work and been riding the R3, it is rejuvenating...
 
That piece of sheet belongs to some evil smelling redneck swamp rat that lives just down the road from Nolton .. I think.

I had a '77, almost 25 years ago. It had a tendency to throw me off on the straight highway, especially with the big windscreen. But apart from frequently trying to kill me, it was a nice bike. Reasonably quick for that time, none of the 80's Harleys could touch it. Best driving mode was a relaxed stroll though.
I did like it, and kept it for 2 years - but: compared to the Rocket, it would look like a cow messing with a full size Rhino.:)
