Congrats mate - looks superb, keep us posted on how it handles and comfort two up. Taking my X out today to attempt to make my mind up. Really like the new bike but could I part with the X?

so far so good. Had a Rocket 111 a few years ago and I have a Speedmaster 1200 too. The GT is just like an overgrown Speedmaster. It handles well. Quality switchgear and feels very comfy.

Love the bags, they make the bike look two feet longer and look well engineered with the zipper locks and pretty curvy brackets. The bags and shelf make for a nice addition to an already gorgeous bike.

Man that's gorgeous. Are the bags quick release capable? If so, could you take a pic of the brackets with the bag removed from the bike?

    Enjoy.....

I just paid off my R3T a few months ago to free up a little money for the payments on my new Duramax Diesel Truck. I would love to buy one of the new rockets. Although it would not end in divorce, I am reasonably certain my death by a tragic accident in the night would be in play. Come on lottery ticket, give me a frickin break! I deserve this! :banghead::rolleyes:

As an extra - how expensive are the panniers and mounts? Did you pay extra for shelf?

Panniers were about £350 and mounts about £280 I think. The rear rack was about £190.
