The great Winston Churchill

Some conservatives have a drunk view also, especially when they have to put their coward asses on the line, Winston was a conservative but different than the coward so called conservatives here in the US; Being very open minded and embraced diversity, rather than cowering toward fear and separation; Although Winston drank, he had a sober mind and very brave with massive amounts of integrity, viewing things honestly as they were instead of how he wished that they were.

So it sounds like you are saying that Winston was a fallible human being? "Welcome to the human race!

Fallible only a fool is not, now Churchill after his disastrous leadership at Gallipoli (which I am sure the Aussie and New Zealand members would agree ) did the right thing and resigned but did not give up instead he went onto fight in France, one thing for sure Churchill was not a coward, as I said in an earlier post he was a Great War time leader and he stepped up whenGreat Britain in fact the whole World needed him in the darkest days of WW11 39-40

On the subject of WW1 & WW2, we took a ride to Fort Nepean and explored the abandoned forts and barracks. Apparently, the first allied shots in anger were fired from here for both world wars...trigger happy Aussies!

"I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend, if you have one."

-George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill

"Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second... if there is one."

-Winston Churchill, in response

I must admit that I don't even know what the above means. Cowardly conservatives? Coward asses on the line???? What is that all about.
