Maybe so... But it is hard to part with my first 'forever bike'. Brahma is running good at the moment and I now know how to care for him better. Just wished Triumph had designed this portion better.
I think you need a different dealer sounds like BS to me I dont see anything wrong with that a little cleaner wont fix and that grime will come off with some starter fluid and injector cleaner no big deal and why dont you clean your bike ?
@warp9.9 I still have a bad back fire issue associated with this ordeal. This morning makes the second time the bike did not start for my commute to work. The vacuum lines mentioned before that may need replacing, are those the MAP sensor lines or something else. The backfire is only at low throttle opening and idle.
Usually back fire through throttle bodys means a lean condition. yes the three vacuum hoses go to the map sensor. also u have some plugs that cover some vacuum tubes that are on the throttle body.
Since yours is newer you might also have other vac line for the emissions crap they added. They will take the place of the blanking plugs on the other throttle body ports?
